Describe one internal and one external method for the dissemination of your evidence-based change proposal. For example, an internal method may be the hospital board, and an external method may be a professional nursing organization. Introduction

Disseminating evidence-based findings is a crucial step in nursing practice. The spread of knowledge is valuable because it improves the quality of care provided to patients and the outcome. Health care providers are usually the target audience in this session because the information revolves around their practice. Dissemination is an informative session that provides the audience with a report of the findings obtained from a critical review of concepts related to a particular clinical practice (Brownson et al., 2018). This activity can be done in two ways; internal and external.

Internal and External Dissemination Methods

My evidence-based change proposal focuses on Early Mobilization Trial Post Op Day One at 0600 In Post-Op Patients. Early ambulation is associated with increased blood circulation and improved functions of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, pulmonary and urinary tract, which had been affected by anesthesia (Wainwright et al., 2020). Disseminating such a useful scientific work requires the presenter’s preparedness and appropriate communication strategy. Strategies that will be used for an internal dissemination method include PowerPoint presentations about early mobilization to colleague staff and other stakeholders, posters, and brochures (Galvao et al., 2018). These techniques are efficient in delivering information because it utilizes most of the visual means of presentations.

The external methods will utilize several strategies to deliver information to a large audience. These techniques include publishing program or policy briefs and publishing project findings in national journals and statewide publications. Presenting at national conferences (American Association of Critical Care Nurses), and meetings of professional associations, and resenting program results to local community groups and other local stakeholders (Galvao et al., 2018).
