The growing incidents of mental wellbeing and substance abuse-related crises is the justification for the sponsorship of a bill by Representative Rose Max of the 11th District of New York. The above facility is intended to recognize substance use and mentalhealth problems, to manage, to prevent, to increase raise understanding and tolend a hand for recovery.

In the United States, there have been over 20.2 million people suffering from substance abuse disorder, with 7.9 million possessing both a substance abuse disorder and a psychiatric disease (Hedden, 2015). Therefore, due to their connection, the combination of the facility for substance abuse and mental health abuse is significant. Each will affect the other.
