Introduction
The use of technology in healthcare has been observed to help in the advancement of the quality of health of patients and it helps in the improvement of the performance of the healthcare providers. The use of technology as well as ensuring that there is an improvement in the safety of care among patients. The speed of delivery of care has improved with the use of technology. One of the technological advancements that have been seen in the health setting is clinical systems. These are used in the process of sharing information among healthcare providers as well as with the patients. Clinical systems such as electronic medical records help in the process of storage of patient information. This paper presents an annotation of the research studies on the application of clinical systems.

From the research, it is clear that the use of technology has progressively gained the support of healthcare providers and patients. The process of use of clinical systems is found to ensure that there is an improvement in the performance of healthcare providers regarding the speed and the quality of patient care. There has been an improvement in the satisfaction of patients as well about the use of clinical systems.
