There have been many debates on the interrelated issues of gender, LGBTQ+, and race dynamics, and the church has for a long time been in the middle of it. According to Levand and Ross (2021), this issue cannot be ignored, and it is upon the church to openly state their position and offer guidance to their followership. A recommended wise and ethical way forward for Christian engagement on these issues requires a careful approach considering aspects such as compassion, biblical values, and social justice. First, Christians are called upon to recognize every individual’s inherent dignity and worth. Clarke et al. (2022) state that this dignity should be accorded to all individuals regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, or racial background.
