Mental Health Prevention and Promotion Assignment
Create a 6- to 7-slide PowerPoint presentation (excluding the Title and Ref slides) in which you do the following:
Identify and briefly describe your chosen clinical issue of interest. *(You will see my clinical issue in attached file Searching Database Discussion) Mental Health Prevention and Promotion Assignment
Describe how you developed a PICO(T) question focused on your chosen clinical issue of interest.
Identify the four research databases that you used to conduct your search for the peer-reviewed articles you selected.
Provide APA citations of the four relevant peer-reviewed articles at the systematic-reviews level related to your research question. If there are no systematic review level articles or meta-analysis on your topic, then use the highest level of evidence peer reviewed article. Mental Health Prevention and Promotion Assignment
Describe the levels of evidence in each of the four peer-reviewed articles you selected, including an explanation of the strengths of using systematic reviews for clinical research. Be specific and provide examples. (You may refer back to your worksheet assignment/Matrix assignment from week 3 this is also attached called MD2Assgn)
Use the rubric. Remember, for a power point presentation you will need a title page and a reference page. Speaker notes should always be used. The speaker notes are what tell the reader what is going on and provides the majority of the information. Your slide will mainly have bulleted content with a main topic. The slide gives an overview while the speaker notes give the detailed information. Speaker notes will contain the majority of your intext citations. The 6-7 slide count does not count the title and ref page. Mental Health Prevention and Promotion Assignment
In addition to your 4 references from your 4 articles you will need at least 4 outside sources to support your assignment. You may use the same outside sources as you used on your Matrix assignment, however, you might see that you need other support as needed as they pertain to this assignment. Mental health is the emotional, social, and psychological well-being that impacts the way people feel, think, and act. Through mental health, individuals are able to handle critical issues like stress and their relationship with other people and in making healthy choices. Across every stage in life from childhood to teenage and adulthood, mental health is paramount. Mental health is important in public health since its development such as depression brings about more complications to individual health (Singh et al., 2022). Mental health is a common issue in the United States where one in every five persons suffers from mental health issues. Mental Health Prevention and Promotion Assignment
The search for PICOT answers was done across reputable databases since these platforms hold sources with the most ideal evidence for clinical practices. For instance, data was searched from MEDLINE, CINAHL, and EBSCO. These databases were critical in providing the most recent articles less than five years ago about mental health. The search used selected words, and phrases about mental health including stress, depression, anxiety, emotions, and mental disorders. These terms were important in directing toward the articles that held important weight about the PICOT question (Wren-Lewis, 2021). Mental Health Prevention and Promotion Assignment
The use of Boolean operators was crucial in changing the model of my search plan. Through the use of Boolean operators, I was able to look for exact phrases and words about mental health and the relevant articles in an easier manner. The use of quotation marks, question marks and specific operators like AND, NOT, and OR were applied (Alharbi, 2020). Mental Health Prevention and Promotion Assignment
To increase the rigor and effectiveness of databases in the search for the PICOT question it is essential to state the year of publication, the design of the articles, and the type of data collected. In addition, the region of the article and the databases were well selected to provide evidence-based and peer-reviewed articles for this question. Mental Health Prevention and Promotion Assignment

Brief description of the research methodology used Be sure to identify if the methodology used was qualitative, quantitative, or a mixed-methods approach. Be specific. Mental Health Prevention and Promotion Assignment
The article by Bangani et al. (2021) used a qualitative methodology, where wearable electrocardiograms and inertial sensors were used on participants to record heart activity and physical activity to predict any stress occurrence.
Greco et al. (2022) utilized the quantitative methodology where participants were subjected to a questionnaire.
Grünheid & Hazem (2023), a cross-sectional survey method which is a quantitative approach was used.
Maple et al. (2024) utilized the quantitative approach where surveys and text questions were distributed among the participants. Mental Health Prevention and Promotion Assignment
A brief description of the strengths of each of the research methodologies used, including reliability and validity of how the methodology was applied in each of the peer-reviewed articles you selected.
For qualitative research, validity is assessed by examining the appropriateness of tools, processes, and data used. The study by, Bangani et al. (2021), recorded data from wearable electrocardiograms and inertial sensors of heart activity and physical activity. As such, the data could not be manipulated which asserts the validity and reliability of the study.
Quantitative research employs numerical data to test a hypothesis. The strength of the method is that it uses large sample sizes and an issue can be examined in detail and in-depth thus asserting its reliability. Mental Health Prevention and Promotion Assignment
