1 Antecedent of the concept

Antecedents refers to the incidents or events that precede a concept identification. According to Nijs et al. (2021), these antecedents are crucial since they enable clinicians to acknowledge more critical attributes of nursing concepts. When reflecting on the concept of pain, there are a variety of antecedents, with painful triggers being the most common. These painful triggers may be related to environmental or personal factors.
