Having an academic portfolio is important to enhance visibility and credibility within the field. As a scholar in a Master of Nursing Program, specifically an Acute Nurse Practitioner, I need to have an academic portfolio comprising of academic activities and accomplishments in the development of professional goals hence aligning with the emphasis for social change at my learning institution. One of the techniques for forming my academic portfolio is research and publication. One strategy is indulging in rigorous research and contributes to the nursing body through publications (Chae & Lee, 2021). This could include research papers, case studies, and contributions go textbooks and academic journals. Active participation in research and stating the findings showcases how committed I am to evidence-based practice and ensures that I make [positive impact in the field.
