Course Overview: This course is intended for the third-year student within Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. The student will have completed 22 credit hours in various areas of study within the program prior to commencing this course. Course Overview: This course is intended for the fourth-year student within Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. It will be comprised of a 6-hour lecture component each week.

Course Description: This course is intended to provide the students with a basic understanding of safe medication administration and pharmacology. In addition to providing a fundamental understanding of pharmacotherapy for a variety of common conditions, the student will focus on the principles of safe administration and patient monitoring. It will also reinforce dosage calculations (Gill et al, 2019).

Course Description:

The purpose of this course is to give students the opportunity to integrate and apply their knowledge of nursing’s professional obligations to a particular nursing specialty. The student is completely immersed in a chosen nursing practice area during the clinical learning experience. The duties of the professional nurse in our present-day and future-world societies are examined through didactic study. Professional nursing will be integrated into a changing healthcare delivery system. Through the development of a nursing philosophy, an ethical statement, and the application of evidence-based practice to a quality improvement project within the context of generalist nursing practice, assignments and clinical experience give students the chance to improve their critical and reflective thinking abilities.

After successful course completion the learner will be able to:
