The existing health disparities have shifted the focus from the general population to the specific vulnerable population. The trend indicates that the general population does not have special needs which require the implementation of strategies and mechanisms that enhance public health safety and wellbeing. However, due to the existing focus on the vulnerable population, the general population continues to experience preventable issues which translate to the rising burden of disease and inability of the general population to lead high-quality life. In knowledge development, healthcare professionals and stakeholders must initiate mechanisms for ensuring that every individual has access to the desired quality of life regardless of their social and economic status in the community. 2. How would you change nursing’s values and resources to promote knowledge development?

Healthcare professionals and stakeholders need to focus on a strategy that enhances more inclusive techniques when handling the needs of the vulnerable and the general population. Thus, it is necessary to design approaches that include various stakeholders and ensure optimal healthcare service delivery approaches. In this approach, we should focus on incorporating evidence-based techniques in the service delivery and ensure that resources and opportunities are optimal for attaining the recommended levels of care (DeHaven et al., 2020). Thus, we must engage all stakeholders and design a program that enhances the attainment of the desirable levels of care, accessible and affordable for all.
