The vision of Walden University is to have a distinctively unique learning environment for students in the 21st century. In addition, the vision of Walden College of Nursing aims at providing crucial programs and innovative education that establishes distinguished graduates that can advance the greatness of global communities (Walden University, 2020). The vision of Walden University and Walden College of nursing is essential to my professional and academic goals because it ensures the level of knowledge acquired is of high quality and one that makes one excel in academics and also in community service. On the other hand, the mission of Walden University is to give a diverse community to professionals in helping them transform scholars in enhancing social changes. The mission of Walden College of nursing is to provide excellent nursing education through developing programs that are able to transform diverse nursing professionals and make them change into champions that can improve health outcomes and in advancing equity in health provision (Walden University, 2020)The Networking Opportunities Assignment Discussion. The mission of both Walden University and Walden College of nesting is important to my professional and academic goals because they are designed to provide the best learning resources and also in ensuring one becomes a change agent in society. For instance, I aim at serving patients equally regardless of their ethnicity, gender, age, or social status for quality care.

Development of a blueprint of academic and professional life there are important teams that can help one have better career and academic goals success. Teams and individuals are important in the development of my vision for a long-term career and academic development. Teams are important in guiding and also in directing one’s way to the best alternatives and best practices. For instance, terms of instructors and experienced nursing practitioners can adequately help in changing one’s mindset and assist in choosing the most appropriate career path. However, it is important to select teams widely to ensure only the most appropriate and experienced are consulted to get the best ideas and guidance (Schmidt, 2018)The Networking Opportunities Assignment Discussion.

Networking is also an important concept in my academic and professional growth. It involves professional relationships and professional interactions with individuals and groups with a common interest with the aim of sharing knowledge and assisting each other. Networks can be developed using workplace colleagues, professional associations, and also classmates. For instance, when it comes to finding jobs nurses can benefit in a big manner from networking. This is because the recruiting bodies in hospitals and departments across healthcare organizations rely on employees’ referrals. In addition, networking is crucial in advancing my career as a nursing practitioner. For instance, when one wants to advance career into becoming a leader in a healthcare organization networking is crucial (Schmidt, 2018).  As a nurse, the job is always demanding and through networking then the daily pressure of the job can reduce. For instance, nurses can relieve their stress by collaborating and interacting with other staff and learning from each other experiences. Networking can be done at physical levels and also virtually. For instance, social media such as Facebook and WhatsApp groups can be good avenues through which professional networking can be done (Wofford, 2018)The Networking Opportunities Assignment Discussion. Further, networking can be done through conferences, networking cards, and interactions with veteran practitioners across healthcare organizations.
