Taxonomy And The Teaching Strategies Assignment
Bloom’s revised taxonomy and the teaching strategies: Nurse Burnout
According to Zapalska et al. (2018), bloom’s Revised Taxonomy is a paradigm for classifying teaching objectives in education and learning. The taxonomy can be employed to determine the appropriate level of psychological processes or depth of understanding. These goals can then be converted into particular teaching practices designed to achieve the necessary degree of comprehension. This is effective when a significant mismatch is seen between the learner’s degree of learning and the quantity of time spent on learning. Bloom’s Revised Taxonomy is a framework that can assist instructors in assessing and implementing educational tactics more successfully. I feel comfortable teaching about nurse burnout. Nurse burnout is a common condition defined by a decrease in caregivers’ energy, which displays mental tiredness, diminished motivation, and emotions of irritation, and can lead to decreased work efficacy (Jun et al., 2021). By using the framework, the three learning objectives that I have created include;
While teaching in blossom’s revised taxonomy, the instructor should investigate the correlation between stress, depression, anxiety, and nurse burnout using more effective, more complicated terms that learners find easier to understand. This will enable the learners to be able to apply what they have learned regarding nurse burnout to be able to adapt or solve the issues. They should be able to apply their understanding of the impacts of nurse burnout to effectively assess ten differences in stress, depression, and anxiety related to burnout. Learners who can write a paper or test quickly on the topic of nurse burnout will find it easy to express their understanding orally during a presentation because they have grasped ten understanding firmly. The last objective will ensure that students understand the concept and be able to fully comprehend the factors that affect nursing burnout in clinical practice. Understanding is at the second level of Bloom’s Revised Taxonomy which requires an instructor to teach in a manner that helps students understand easily.
