Secondly, I will increase my technological skills as the healthcare setting is shifting towards technology use in service delivery. Lastly, it is to provide patient-centered care, which helps improve patient experience and satisfaction. Keeping track of my accomplishments and goals is vital as it helps in my career growth. Building professional and academic portfolios is one strategy for including educational activities and accomplishments. A professional portfolio is essential for any professional as it demonstrates an individual’s actions and highlights professional growth. E-portfolios are impactful in demonstrating progress, achieving coursework, and providing evidence of clinical outcomes (Green et al., 2014). Therefore, as the world transitions to incorporating digital technologies, E-platforms will help one manage their professional accomplishments and academic activities. In an E-portfolio, one can include clinical experiences, scans of licenses and academic transcripts, short and long-term goals, and other details that help one prove themselves to potential employers.

How Goals Align with University Social Change

I feel that my professional development goals and academic accomplishments align with the university’s social change. In the university, social change involves creating and applying ideas, strategies and actions that promote worth. My professional goals of continuing education will help me acquire skills and knowledge that will help guide my decision-making on appropriate ideas and strategies to implement during practice. Secondly, technology is becoming an integral part of healthcare, and increasing knowledge of technology will help achieve a positive social change. Lastly, providing patient-centered care will involve working on clinical experiences that will help enhance my professional growth.
