ACADEMIC RESOURCE/STRATEGY 1

This source highlights how to ensure successful online learning from doing research, planning, and making decisions. Having the right skills and identifying high-quality nursing program they are suited for (Online Collages, 2011). The first thing is being interested in learning as it is continuous, and motivation affects the outcomes. I will use this resource to guide my decision to maximize learning in the digital space and grow in my personal life and professionally. It is essential to be in a support network as online learners can be isolated and have a self-drive to work alone and have an online presence. Everyday I dedicate at least two hours to my studies and reading to ensure that I am successful and productive.Academic Success and Professional Development

ACADEMIC RESOURCE/STRATEGY 2

Walden University’s nursing practicum manual focuses on supervised practical application and improvement of nursing knowledge and competency (Walden University, 2020). The manual provides information on the MSN program and the post master’s certificate program where nursing students choose their specializations (Walden University, 2020). Thus, I will rely on the manual to determine what I need to complete the curriculum and gain experience. The resource is essential to evaluate the nursing curriculum in 2020/2021, where field experience is important to work in clinical settings advance in academics and healthy policy environments. There is a professional and collaborative relationship between the MSN students, the supervisors, and preceptors to ensure they learn from the practice environment and gain important skills. I have been working closely with my mentor finding preceptors for my clinical. I am being proactive because it was difficult and stressful to find a mentor. I had to wait almost six months to get back into school.

ACADEMIC RESOURCE/STRATEGY 3

This source from Walden University looks into different learning ways for MSN and a nursing career to improve the prospects of providing quality care. This resource is relevant when deciding on career development and learning when MSN students choose what is appropriate for career growth, and there is information on the preferred career path. The two learning methods are the instructor-led approach or the Tempo Competency-Based Learning. The latter is a competency-based approach focusing on knowledge acquisition and control over the learning schedule. At Walden University, there are different paths to the MSN, where admission requirements and specialization as a nurse practitioner or specialty practice are identified.  The instructors are active in the discussions and communicate with the students. I read the announcement at the beginning of each week to ensure that I don’t miss any important information or directions when completing my upcoming assignments.Academic Success and Professional Development
