There are also other amenities available such as parks, lakes, libraries, and museums for residents to enjoy. According to the City of Minneapolis website (2023), the residents are very active in their parks, schools, and neighborhood associations. The availability of parts allows residents to participate in leisure activities as well as outdoor sports (Norsa’adah et al.,2020). Recreational services are also offered in schools and community centers. Adequate recreation allows community members to enjoy the outdoors while promoting exercise and other healthy activities. Public health in Armatage, Minnesota, is affected by many environmental factors. The city has a wide variety of industries that affect the communities health such manufacturing, construction, and public transportation. Air pollutants deteriorate the global climate and contribute to the spread of infectious disease among the population. With an increase in population, there is an increase in crime and violence. Another social aspect to determine the health of a community is access to community centers or other groups that can provide support if needed.
