Draft a 3- to 4 page paper analyzing areas where there is good performance and areas of opportunity from the sample Dashboard. Analyze the data provided in the Dashboard and select an area of performance that needs improvement. Include information on why this area was chosen. A dashboard in healthcare is the graphic representation of important information that outlines the performance of an organization in quality designated areas range. Quality dashboard also represents one page report that gives an organization the right direction to focus for quality assurance and control actions (Hunt, 2017). Furthermore, quality dashboard in healthcare gives clinicians and the users in a healthcare facility summary performance measures for patients. Data Analysis

The American Nurses Association (ANA) developed NDNQI (National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators) to continue building and collecting healthcare information from earlier research. The collected information helped the organization to continue growing the nursing body of knowledge that affected the nursing care quality. The nurse sensitive indicator that was selected for quality improvement is the pressure ulcers percentage (Hunt, 2017). The sample dashboard containing data for pressure ulcers indicated only a single part of the four quarters that had met the target value required. Pressure ulcers is a global healthcare problem that damages patients’ outcome as well as the quality of life by financially draining patients and hospitals.

The clinical practice protocol also helped the nurses to measure the efficiency of treatments given to patients with multiple ulcers through the use of multiple literature databases.
