Project Setting

The project will take place in a pediatric clinic, where primary care providers frequently encounter adolescents. The clinic provides accessible health care and a familiar environment for patients from birth until age 21. It offers a full range of pediatric care, including well–child check-ups, immunizations, and sick appointments. The team comprises pediatricians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, medical assistants, front desk staff, dedicated phone staff, medical billing staff, and office managers. The clinic welcomes any insurance, handles about 15 patients per provider daily, and is open five days a week from 9 am -5 pm, closed during lunch time from 12 pm-1 pm, and open on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month from 9 am- 12 pm. The clinic team is committed to providing quality service in a comfortable, safe office setting where children and parents can feel at ease.

The project participants will consist of clinic staff members at the local pediatric clinic, including physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff who are directly involved in patient care. The anticipated number of participants is approximately 15-20.
