The four domains of scholarship identified by Ernest Boyer’s model are teaching, discovery, integration, and application (Skorinko, 2019). Using this model as a guide, I plan to apply evidence-based practices in clinical settings (application), engage in research projects (discovery) pertaining to creative teaching methodologies, refine pedagogical approaches to improve student learning (teaching) and integrate research findings into the curriculum (integration).
