The role and implementation of EBP could differ in a setting of nursing research where ethical and data collection tools are more useful. EBP has also been used to facilitate effective decision-making within the purview of collaborative practice. Ethical decision-making is a significant initiative where healthcare professionals are presented with legal and ethical scenarios involved in their practice and how to mitigate the risks within the purview of EBP (Wolstenholme, 2015). The initiative can enhance the delivery of care to patients by ensuring that healthcare professionals practice within the scope of current laws and practice scope.
