Course: Quality Outcomes in a Culture of Value-Based Nursing Care
Welcome to the clinical practice experience (CPE) for this course. The CPE for the Master of Science in Nursing program core courses consists of a variety of semi-structured activities. By completing all the activities and evidence listed within this document, and earning a grade of “Competent,” you will earn 25 indirect CPE hours for this course.
CPE Objective:
In the CPE for this course, you will gather and analyze perspectives regarding value-based nursing care by experiencing the role of a nurse quality manager responsible for monitoring, reporting, and ensuring safe and quality patient care.
In this CPE, you will experience the role of a graduate degree–prepared nurse in two phases:

To fulfill the clinical practice experience (CPE) requirements for this course, you will complete the attached “Clinical Practice Experience (CPE) Record.†You will need to electronically sign and date the record. REQUIREMENTS
